Zach Shelton was born in Plattsburg, Missouri to Robert and Sandy Shelton. He is the youngest of three children, an older sister Erin and a older brother Luke. Zach spent his entire childhood in Plattsburg, Missouri, where his father is pastor of First Baptist Church. At the age of six, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was publicly baptized shortly after in May of 2002. Zach received his calling to music ministry while at Super Summer in the summer of 2012.
In 2013 Zach started his undergraduate schooling at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. He is currently a Junior and is studying to receive a Bachelor of Music in Church Music. It was here that he met his future wife Kati. They were married in December of 2015 at Riverview Baptist Church. Zach has served on various worship teams since he was 14. He has also been a part of many choirs including his high school choir, church choirs, the Bolivar Community Choir, and Chorale, the top performing ensemble at his college. One of Zach’s favorite parts of college has been serving on a revival team where he helped lead revivals at local churches in Southern Missouri. In August of 2015, Zach accepted a call to Riverview Baptist Church where he is currently the Worship Leader. Zach has a heart and passion to help lead the church in authentic worship that glorifies and praises God alone.
