Student Ministry

RBC student ministries exist to cause these three that remain; faith, hope, and love to grow to maturity through authentic community, bible literacy, discipleship, ministry, missions & worship. That RBC students would know their worth and identity is found in a saving, trusting, believing relationship with the Lord Jesus. We seek in all our endeavors to Glorify God, Make Disciples and Love People.

“May Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith being rooted and grounded in love, so that you may comprehend…and know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”   Ephesians 3:17-19.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

RBC student mid-week fellowship & bible study groups currently meet in three locations. Osage Beach and Lake Ozark area students meet in the home of Adam and Amy Mistler in the Osage National subdivision. Camdenton area students gather in the home of Todd and Daphne Shockley just off the square in Camdenton on Panoramic Drive. Times for these gatherings start at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. followed by bible study and teaching from 7 – 8:00 p.m.

Middle School students meet on-campus weekly from 6 – 7:00 p.m. A meal is served at 6:15 p.m. and time for recreation is built into the evening’s activities. Bible study and teaching take place from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.

ALL On-campus gathering. To ensure all of our students stay connected, we meet the third Wednesday of each month all together on campus for a special time of praise and worship, teaching, fellowship and food.

This Wednesday schedule is as follows:

  • 6-6:15pm Fun & Rec Time
  • 6:15pm Dinner Served
  • 6:45-7pm More Fun & Rec Time
  • 7-7:15pm Praise & Worship
  • 7:15-8:00pm Bible teaching or special guest speaker.

Wednesday Student Gatherings follow the Osage school calendar. Scheduled days out of school on Wednesdays as well as unexpected inclement weather days will cause Wednesday gatherings to NOT meet.

SUMMER Wednesday gatherings move to a 1X / month with special get togethers in June, July and August with dates and specific activities TBD.

Students grow in discipleship with regular community engagement around the word of God. Lifegroups for students are available at 8 a.m. for grades 6 -12, and then again at 11:00 a.m. with two groups meeting. One group is for middle school students grades 6-8 and the other is for high school students grades 8-12.

Special Events / Activities

Winter Retreat is a high school event grades 9-12 involving RBC students and their invited guests. Students travel out of town for a 3-day retreat during one of the holiday weekends in either January or February. This is one of the best attended, most talked about activities every year. Tons of fun with group activities like Topgolf, Mainevent, Union Station and more are integrated into large group worship and bible teaching times. Sprinkled throughout the weekend are small group devotional times. To top it off – outstanding home cooked meals and a “night out on the town” to eat at a local restaurant.

Summer Mission Trip is for mature, committed high school students who want to grow in their faith through missions and service. RBC partners with a well established mission organization to provide our students with hands-on service projects designed to open opportunities to share the gospel with those being served. This week-long investment purposes to cause students active participation in the building of God’s kingdom in a community and culture different from our own.

Various other Middle School and High School events and activities occur throughout the year such as; FCA Fields of Faith, Paintball, Swim Parties, Back-to-School Bash, Youth Christmas party, and ice-skating just to name a few.
