Dr. Bruce E. King, Elder
Dr. King serves as one of Riverview’s first lay elders.
“I appreciate the relationships that our lead pastor and the other elders are building with each other and the people of Riverview,” Dr. King says. “Those relationships are helping us reach new ministry levels.”
Dr. King and his wife, Joyce, were married at Riverview in 1978. They have three daughters and three sons-in-law — Alison and Scott, Adriane and Simon, and Ashley and Anthony — and 10 grandchildren.
“My family is very close,” Dr. King says. “We spend as much time together as we can.”
For the last 32 years, Dr. King has served the community as a general dentist. He retires in June 2023.
